Hi guys. I've been at it again! In the past, your PM alert has been located on the main banner. I am now testing a new PM alert. (This will only be temporary however.) Now if you receive a PM, you will notice a small icon appear at the top right-hand side of the screen. Simply click on this to open, and you will have the option to view your new message, or to create a new PM of your own. Leave any feedback, good or bad, here. Like i said, it's just an experiment.

I've got the old button back, now on the right hand side. The new alert is still on also. I'll see how it goes for a while.

I think having them both works great. I like it a lot, I've never seen anything like it at any other board. Keep up the good work!

We could be really obnoxious and set off bells and buzzers as well!

I think Phantom's trying to attract members, not chase them away, lol.

Yeah but we could use the sound like when someone said the secret word like on Pee Wees Playhouse!

It'll take some getting used to, as I'm used to it being on the lefthand side, but sounds like another winner, Phantom.

I am still finding that, on IE anyway, my page keeps getting shutdown because of some kind of error. Not always, just every-so-often. It is annoying as hell though. I've moved the code around, removed the old PM alert again, just to see how it goes. Anyone else experience the same problem, let me know. I'll just go back to the old system.

Mine says that it can't display the web page, but I just refresh and it comes up like normal.

I think that'll work. Don't want a goof-up on this because you're too tired to know what you're doing. Get some rest and then hammer it out with a good rest.
