I give it a four; very clever film, with some really good gore. One of the few horror comedies to get it right. There is just something that is keeping me from giving it that fifth star though, I am not exactly sure what it is. But it certainly is one of the best zombie movies to hit in recent years.

Check out the "Man who would be Shaun" feature. I love SOTD but "Hot Fuzz" is my favourite movie at the moment. I can't wait to see what Pegg, Frost and Wright do next.

I give it a five. It is fun, kinda gory, and it comes coplete with the Romero seal of approval. What else could you ask for?
You really preferred Hot Fuzz, Razor? I enjoyed it but I liked Shaun much more

Very disappointed on watching Hot Fuzz, I really didn't find it very funny. Mildly amusing maybe but nowhere near the level of Shaun of the Dead. Perhaps I'm not sufficiently clued up to the cop-buddy movie genre to appreciate it but frankly I'd rather beat my d*ck flat with a steak hammer than watch Point Break again (or Bad Boys II at all)!

Well, I don't consider Hot Fuzz to be a comedy, but it does have some very funny moments.

On my first viewing a couple of years ago, although i enjoyed it i couldn't quite figure out what all the fuss was about... but on subsequent recent viewings i discovered the magic......
Not only the best Zombie film of this generation, it has to be considered one of the best films of this decade .Period.
The scenes of Shaun walking to the shop and back, oblivious to the world around him i can very much relate to and the survival montage is one of the funniest things i've seen in a long time.
Plus it has one of my favourite new quotes.
Liz "you called David a twat and Diane a failed actress" Shaun" I did not call Diane a failed actress"

For zombie-comedies, no I'll give it to this one but there's very few out there that can top this one. There's a few but there are some out there.
