Halloween is big business. It grows each year and its not regulated to kiddies trick or treating anymore, that is just a by-product now!
There are quite a few attractions within driving distance, however, with two young kids and a wife you really doesn't dig the scare attractions, kinda hard to get out to see 'em all.
So, after kids trick or treat party, kiddies in bed, horror movie madness!
I think I'm going to make a pilgrimage to Universal Orlando one of these Octobers to partake in its annual Frightfest dodad!

Well, since I'm not likely to be here until Monday, I'll wish you all a safe and happy, uneventful Halloween, and I'll see you when I can. I'll post everything that happened then, including my choice for the November MotM. I still haven't made my final choice, and I'm hoping to do so this weekend, but until then.

Good choices, Jen. I will be taking my nephew trick or treating a few towns over. He is very cute, but I do have some concerns about whether or not I will get annoyed and sick of it quickly. I know that probably sounds terrible, but I don't know that I have the patience to carry him, hold his candy, and wipe his nose once he innevitably starts crying about some nonsense. Hopefully nobody will have a really scary costume or he will turn into a geyser.
After that, I plan to head home, watch some television, and unfortunately catch up on some work. Maybe I'll watch a few films while I'm doing it. For some reason, I have had an urge to watch The Devil's Rejects and Hostel 2 again (haven't seen either in a long time) and I might check 'em out. Maybe a trip to see paranormal activity too, if I can talk the better half into it.

Ah, Halloween. I've had quite a few things going on including mind-numbingly boring (and never ending) governmental nonsense to deal with regarding immigration in not one, but two countries. I advise all of you to not spread yourself out over two continents, dealing with one government's bullshit should be plenty for anyone.
What can I say, I am a masochist.
Being that I've been busy with such suicide-inducing activities, my Halloween spirit has been shaken this year and I doubt it can be salvaged at this point.
I'll probably watch a few films, empty a bottle of vodka, and pass out on the couch.
