At risk of pouring fuel on the fire here can I just ask ''So what?'' So he's sleazy character. Big deal. They exist. We shouldn't erase them from film out of some misguided sense of political correctness. And on the sleaze-o-meter H2 barely rates when set agaist exploitation classics like SS hell Camp, Sadomania, Hard Gore or films by the likes of D'Amato and Franco - where the ''sleaze'' is served up in a gratuitously prurient fashion. Toads actually don't find the occasional wallow in filth and depravity - it can be quite cathartic. In fact here's a useful mesage board on the subject: www.digital-retribution.com/forum/index.php?board=27.0(Come back and visit soon GL - we miss you over there ) Exactly right, Toad. And I left there because it got too Oz-specific for my tastes, but if it's changed and gotten back to movies, I'll be back in full force.

I liked it just fine, it gave everyone an ending, Halloween 1 didn't really have an ending, plus it set it up nicely for H20, along with 3 these were the only ones worth watching.

Actually my favorite of the Halloweens for quite a few years when I was younger. Mostly because at the time I didn't really get the suspensful nature of the first and this one was more straight up slasher with the gore and less on the suspense. But it still in my top 2 faves of the series.

Highly, highly underrated effort that does have a lot more to it than expected. Again, same thoughts on this one.

Gave this one four stars. It still kicks ass but I just don't like it as much as the first.

I think it's better than the original, more kills, more gore and better stalking. It just didn't come first, which is why no one thinks it's better than the first one.
