A documentary that follows the evolution of the 'Halloween' movies over the past twenty-five years. It examines why the films are so popular and revisits many of the original locations used in the films - seeing the effects on the local community. For the first time, cast, crew, critics and fans join together in the ultimate 'Halloween' retrospective. A comprehensive look at the iconic horror film franchise, this DVD was inspired by fans who brought together cast and crew and about 1,500 or so lucky Halloween fans to a 25th anniversary celebration in California, 2003. Oddly, no plans for a 25th anniversary SE DVD or the like was planned by the powers that be who own the Halloween franchise rights. It was a scrappy band of fans who put this together, complied from video footage shot at the convention. It has some great panel discussions of most of the films, some tidbits about Halloween 3 from director Tommy Wallace (rare-since not much is discussed about H3-period!) plus interviews with PJ Soles, Danielle Harris, Charles Cyphers and director of Photography on H1 and H2, the great Dean Cundey. It is chock full of info and a must have for any serious Halloween fan. What say you, Myers fans?

I don't feel the need to get this one. The docu on the 25th Anniversary Edition is more than enough for me, as it's insightful, compact and keeps my interest when I watch it. Most of what's covered is mostly made availiable anyway, and I most likely know it already. Personally, I'm only gonna pick this one up if they integrate it into an ultilmate Halloween release of part 1, where they throw everything onto it: commentaries, featurettes, deleted scenes for television, memorials, interviews and this footage all compiled together. Smells like early promo for Zombie's movie to me.

I think its worth it. The panel discussions are good and Clark's Horrors Hallowed Grounds is a nice extra.

As tempting as that is, BD, I can turn on Cinemax or Showtime and get the same thing without wasting money. It's gonna need a little more than that to convince me to upgrade for it. Integrate it with the newly discovered reels of H1 and I just might get it, but it's not too likely.

LOL, why would you need to turn on Cinemax or Showtime to see nudity, you're on the internet dude, it's everywhere.

Two words, CT: no traces. No matter if I hide it on my computer, it's still there, while on TV I can simply hit two buttons and no one's the wiser. A lot easier to get away with.

what do you need to "get away with'. Unless you plan on looking at some sick kiddie porn shit, you are well within your rights as an adult to look at naked chicks, dudes, donkeys, or whatever else floats your boat. Unless you share your computer with somebody who is reasonably tec savvy, and it would embarass yo if they saw your deleted porn cookies then why would it matter?

I do and they are, HNT. I live with a friend and they are pretty magical on the computer, so it makes it hard to get away with stuff like that, whereas on TV, it's a lot easier.

makes sense but dont worry about what your friends think, bro. Life lesson: all men look a porn. Even Wilt Chamberlain in the middle of banging 20 thousand women jerked the gherkin once in a while. It is just a regular part of life and y shouldn't be embarassed about tending to yur tool on occasion

I'll give it a try, but not everyone is as openminded as you are, so I can't garauntee anything more than that. That's about all I can do.
