Serenity actually left me a bit cold, and I'm still not really sure why. Just couldn't engage with it. Reently I have been huntig down old ones like 12 Monkeys and Fifth Element Hmmm-try Cronneberg's eXisTenZ or old school with Blue Sunshine. And , I think A Scanner Darkly should be out on DVD soon.

eXisTenZ sounds good... I'll add it to the list. Recently got a review copy of the SE Event Horizon... now that is a pretty neat movie, and the extras package is really worth seeing.
And got around to watching Screamers last night. Excellent fun - and you can se the execrable Starship Troopers 2 borrowed heavily from it.

The Fifth Element, that wasn't a bad one. Aaahh, the mid 90's, those were the days...

Too true. Toad developed his love of Arnie via films such as Predator and Total Recall.

Both solid flicks with my fav being Predador. I found Total Recall to be a bit on the campy side.
Recently saw the Ahnold Flick The 6th Day. Pretty good flick about cloning. Check it out if you have not done so.

I've never seen that released here (as Toad waits for Phantom to correct him!)... I'll have a look next time I have an on-line binge.
