Tool - 10,000 Days
I love this cd. Most of the songs are just same old Tool doing what they do best, but they are some on here that are just so mind blowing odd. My favorite songs from it so far are.
Vicarious - Favorite song
Wings for Marie (pt1)
10,000 Days (Wings pt2)
These are two very sad songs, they are about how MJK would give up everything just to have his mother alive again.
The Pot - This is Kristi's favorite song off this cd, I like it alot, but not as much as her.
Rosetta Stoned - This song if just so fucked up that its good.
If you don't have this cd and are a Tool fan then you got to get it. If you don't know who Tool is then this would be a good cd to pick up just to hear some damn good songs.
A little bit of triva. The name of this cd 10,000 Days stands for how many days it took MJK's mother to died after she had a stoke that left her partially paralyzed and wheelchair-bound.

I don't love Tool. I enjoy the musicianship. They are terrific musicians, and they set a very interesting ambient mood that goes well with certain psychadellic enhancements. THey are not a favorite of mine or anything. In a lot of ways they are just a poor man's Floyd. On the other hand, what other mainstream band are out thereright now making music of that quality. The new Tool and Pearl Jam are unique cause they are both Platinum sellers and damn good records. Tht is just not a common situation anymore

I don't care if someone's record goes platinum. I just have to be able to enjoy the music and know the band is doing what they want to do. I like Pink Floyd, but I never got into Tool really. I never got into Pearl Jam either. Im not saying they are bad or anything. I guess they are just an aquired taste.
