Yeah, I know. It looks great and I really like it. It's why it's the poster for the movie thread.

New trailer added: Trailer now added to BDTV for your convenience! If you click here you can watch the final trailer for Rob Zombie's Halloween, which hits theaters on August 31. After being committed for 17 years, Michael Myers, now a grown man and still very dangerous, is mistakenly released from the mental institution (where he was committed as a 10 year old) and he immediately returns to Haddonfield, where he wants to find his baby sister, Laurie. Anyone who crosses his path is in mortal danger. If that link doesn't work, here's the article and follow directions from there: www.bloody-disgusting.com/news/9552

Looks pretty slick. I'm prepared to keep an open mind about this.

I think so too. Should be pretty good, even though l'm not going to see it due to my theatrical-remake-ban, but looks good regardless.

Trying to keep an open mind myself. Just wish Zombie wasn't following The Devil's Rejects with a remake. But I will say, the casting of Malcolm McDowell was a good call, I think.

My love of Michael Myers and the Halloween series fortunately outweighs my disdain for Rob Zombie so i'll be checking it out when it reaches our shores.
I agree the casting of Malcolm Mcdowell as Loomis is inspired and lets not forget Brad Dourif, as sherriff Brackett.
i just hope i can put up with sherri moon while she's in it.Cant wait till Michael puts her out of our Misery

LOL... I'm looking forward to her demise almost as much as I enjoyed Paris Hilton being skewered in the Wax remake.

Be a far cry from White Zombie videos and the Devil's Rejects, that's for sure.

I agree that its frustrating that this is an unecessary remake, but I hope that Zombie takes the innevitable money that will follow his success with this and invests it making some more original material in the future

But knowing my luck, it'll be The Firefly's Part 3 and I'm not that looking forward to it.
