Let me know when you get back, and I'll do that.

I always thought it was hampered by it being so desensitized towards the violence, but that's something else entirely. I think that's ridiculous. The original Halloween didn't have a bunch of gory, overly violent kills. That's the way this sequel decided things should be. Nothing wrong with that. I know a lot of people wanted a return to the original. You're the only one who seems to prefer the sequels to the original.

Right, I prefer Part 6 as the best one in the series, with the original being the second choice, mainly because I just got so desensitized to it watching it all the time that it doesn't phase me anymore.

Halloween H20 is a solid entry in the Halloween series even though many people may consider it a hip entry trying to cash in on the sucsess of Scream at the time. Jaime Lee Curtis came back and gave the best Halloween performance there has ever been and her vs Michael at the end was probaly the most thrilling finale of all. The scares were more present and there actually was suspense even if some of the suspense led nowhere. The opening is my favorite of any Halloween film with not only a returning character but three kills which I liked. However the movie is not perfect it needed just a couple more kills and a little more blood, I know many may argue saying they were trying to create what the original did but oh well it needed more grue. Another thing that annoys me is they never explain how Michael came back. I mean he was burned to a crisp in the second and he is just back, come on now. Maybe it had something to do with that the original killer was LL cool J but they finally decided just to go with Michael. Overall a solid entry and definitly worth a look.

You have not spoken, and this is a solid entry. I like it a lot, though it does have a few problems.

I like H20. Most horror series are abysmal by the 7th one. And Jamie Lee coming back was pretty cool I was suprised she did this one and Resurrection.

I really liked this one too, I felt it tried hard to recapture the atmoshpere of the original. And it was a big step up fron 666 IMO.

Halloween 6 is the best entry in the whole series, so anything is a step down, including this one, but I still found it good.

That's my problem the whole Thorn cult angle is what ruins it for me and I just can't get past it.

I love it because of that cult angle. Much better than the lame-ass twist we get in Part 2. At least it's something creative attempted, and I always reward that in films.

You do realize that when John Carpenter wrote that twist for Halloween 2 he was drunk right? That doesn't mean anything to me. As long as it's in the movie, I'll judge it on that term. How it came to be placed in the film is s hit, it's what's said that matters and it was lame, stupid and completely unnecessary.
