Ron's actually going to have almost two weeks off, so looking forward to that (he's taking some vacation), I think we are going to be spending Christmas Eve with his family, part of the day with his mom's side of the family, part of the day with his dad's side......then that night, Ron and I will exchange gifts (and give the dogs their gifts ). Christmas day will probably be spent at his parent's house. And our third wedding anniversary is coming up on the 30th. Amazing how fast three years goes by anymore....lol. I do miss my family though. Been awhile since we have made it to Georgia. So the holidays are a little sad for me. But I will be calling everyone.

Since I had to go in pretty late yesterday afternoon, after I left here yesterday I was able to get the tree up in my living room and had my family put the decorations on while I was at work. We're getting the rest of the room decorations up today (I'm gonna go get them after I''m done here) so we'll start getting into the season by the end of the week.

My parent collect these little ceramic snow covered houses and buildings as Christmas decorations. They've got like a hundred and they all over their damn house.

I wrapped most my gifts tonight. I had dvred Rudph the Red Nose Reindeer to watch while I wrapped, but it turned out to be (apparently) a scene for scene cgi re-rendering with new voices (no Burl Ives). What kind of bullshit is that?! I stopped Nd deleted it in disgust. If anyone knows when the oldscbool one is gonna be on lemme know and I'll dvr it.

We finished wrapping gifts tonight, the tree has been up for awhile (only decorating we do, no room for anything else....haha), and finally got all the Christmas cards mailed out yesterday.....so we are all set.
Really CT? Ugh. I usually watch it every year (along with Frosty), I think its supposed to be on Saturday night.

Yes I was simply mortified! And when I say cgi, I mean the most primitive looking computer rendered graphics I've seen in a decade. Steer clear.
But you're right, it's on Saturday night at 8, got it set to record, thanks for the tip Jen!
I took my gifts over to my parents house in case my apartment gets broken into, hehe, but there was no tree to put em under, they haven't put it up yet. So it wasn't very gratifying.

I wrapped a few gifts and spent the day making glazed pecans, something my mom and I make every christmastime.

Last week I put up the Small fake Christmas tree my sister puts in her yard every year, had to tie it down with fishing line so the wind wont blow it over.

Put up the tree at my parents house, decorated it, and put a few presents under it.

I took a dump. Seriously, I don't really get too into this stuff. I will go with Jamie to her mother's house and exchange gifts with them, and I will send a few gifts to the family at home, but this is just not a major one for me. I am not Scroogey about it, and I certianly wish everyone else a Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, Joyous Kwanzaa or whatever else you might be celebrating that I forgot to mention
