Yeah, I'm with familiar cricket, Matt. It is incomprehensible to me. I have had people in the UK and India try to explain it to me while I was there. They all loved it, I really tried to understand it, and the whole thing made absolutely no sense to me, haha

Yeah, twice. Back when I was growing up, my dad was very, very heavily into baseball cards and went to conventions and shops all the time and I went along since I was just beginning to learn the game at the time. He was at two of them we went to, and I vividly remember him going out of his way to talk to everyone there, since it often took us an eternity to get to talk to him ourselves so I was a little fidgety standing in line, but I later learned what he was doing and he apologized every time to each fan for taking so long to get to them, he asked us lots of questions about whether or not we were enjoying ourselves, what teams we were following, that sort of thing. He even signed my glove during one of the trips, but I don't have it anymore or else I would've shown it when he passed as it deteriorated and I had to throw it away when it was ravaged by moths several years ago. There's a couple of others that I've met at these shows, but he was the only one I remember having those kinds of stories with so I was really, really sad to hear that.

RIP Ryan Dunn. I grew out of Jackass years ago but loved it in high school.
On June 20, 2011 at approximately 3:30 am EDT, Dunn died in a car crash in West Goshen Township, Pennsylvania[7]. Reports from TMZ state that he posted a photo of him drinking with friends hours beforehand.[8] At the time of the accident, Dunn was believed to have been traveling over 110 mph (180 km/h). An unidentified occupant of the vehicle was also found dead at the scene.[8] WKST-FM reported that both of the bodies had suffered severe burns, and the emergency medical technicians experienced difficulty in identifying the vehicle's occupants; Dunn was reportedly identified by his tattoos and facial hair[9]. The crash kept the section of route 322 between New Street and Pottsville Pike closed for almost six hours.[7]

I never grew out of Jackass. It is a guilty pleasure, but I still lots of fun. RIP Ryan to Ryan Dunn for sure. Maybe not as talented as some of the other folks we put on this list, but definitely way too young to die.
As for Clarence Clemons, that is definitely a real loss. Springsteen songs just remind me of summer in New Jersey down at Seaside on the boardwalk. Great times

I've really been bad at this, and I know we've probably skipped over some since this thread was last updated (can someone with mod powers make this a sticky in this forum? Not an announcement but at least a sticky? It'll be easier to remember and find that way) so RIP to those that have been unfairly skipped over, as well as to the most recent losses, Cliff Robertson and Andy Whitfield.
