I actually watched a couple episodes a few days ago and it's not so great. At least for me. He doesn't play basketball anymore, he plays fuckin' Lacrosse. haha The whole feel of the series is meant to be like the Twilight movies. If you're into those then you might like the series, but if your expecting it to be like the movie... well don't.

I watched about twenty minutes of the first episode and turned it off. And this is coming from someone that enjoys the hell out of The Vampire Diaries....

But Vampire Diaries was created by Kevin Williamson right? At least he has some horror pedigree. Yes, it's Williamson's show and it is a bit darker for a paranormal romance themed show. Also The Vampire Diaries was the "Twilight" of it's time (when I was a teen), but young adult books were far less sophisticated in the '90s. I think Twilight owes a lot to that series. But the show only came about because of this Twilight craze, and a lot of details were changed for that reason I think.

Geez, If that's not an advertisement to avoid MTV I don't know what is.I'm am sorta interested in seeing the My Super Psycho Sweet 16 movies though,if only because of my need to see every slasher flick ever made.
Tell me does MTV ever adhere to the M in it's name and play music anymore?

haha. Makes me think of that great line in School of Rock, when jack Black says "And there used to be a way to stick it to the man,it was called Rock N Roll, but guess what. Oh No. The man ruined that too, with a little thing called MTV.

I'm am sorta interested in seeing the My Super Psycho Sweet 16 movies though,if only because of my need to see every slasher flick ever made. To tell the truth, they're both pretty good. Go for part 1 first, though. Bigger body count, better stalking, better kills and a bigger dose of suspense, the second is all right but it doesn't really get it's slasher going on until the last act. The first one is a lot more of a continuous effort. MTv is legit. You guys don't know what your missin' out on. Of course we do. You did when you listed it's line-up, man.
