I'm not a fan of a lot of bottled BBQ sauce that uses that nasty liquid smoke crap, but you don't like BBQ sauce at all?

Mustard is great. Mayo is what I can't stand!

BBq sauce from a bottle is awful. Homemade sauce is fine, but it is much more important that BBQ be well smoked than it is what sauce is on it. BBQ sauce on a burger is just not my thing.

I agree on the homemade part. I usually put ketchup, mustard, pickles, lettuce, tomato, onions, etc on my burgers but occasionally a burger with bacon and bbq sauce on it hits the spot. Now mayo on a burger, that's just a crime against humanity.

Depends on the burger. I never put mayo on a homemade burger, but a crappy Burger King whopper just somehow tastes that much better with the combination of toppings (including mayo) that it normally comes with. As for me, if I don't use ketchup and mustard and I decide to do something falshier, I like blue cheese crumbles, fried onions, and steak sauce pretty well

No lol I didnt feel like typing it last night. Equal parts of ketchup and grape jelly, and a splash of red apple cider vinegar. Now depending on how much you are making the amount of spices will vary. Old bay white pepper cumin oregano cayanne (if you want it spicy) You can play around with it as well sometimes Ill dice an onion or green bell pepper. Maybe throw some chipolte into the mix.

Sounds ok to me, and not all that difficult. I will have to give it a try.
