New York Ripper (traded HNT.) Bad Lieutenant Shockumentary Vol. 1 They Call Me Trinity (I really want to see it, but I got it for my dad for fathers day. He loves this movie.) NICE! I have the "Shock vol.2" coming. Traded in some unwanted DVD's for £15 and picked up some replacements (plus £2 credit left) "Star Trek: First Contact" - £2 Upgrade from VHS "Star Trek: Nemesis" - never seen this, but it was a good price. £2 "Year of the Dragon" - Damn fine Michael Cimino film (hey, it's his best film) with Mickey Rourke on top form. - £5 "Street Crimes" - What was Dennis Farina doing in a cheapy action flick in 1992? No idea! But Farina is THE MAN and you can't go wrong for - £1"American Yakuza" - Good solid actioner with Viggo Mortensen. - £2"Bridge of Dragons"/"Hired to Kill" - Double DVD. Exchanged the single "Dragons" for this double release. Got the film back PLUS another film AND had money over! "Dragons" is a drop of Dolph action, and "Hired To Kill" has Oliver Reed kissing Brian 'X Files' Thompson in between people getting shot. With George Kennedy! How could I not when both were just .50p!! "Operation Delta Force"/"O D Force 2"/"U.S Seals"/"U.S Seals 2" - .50p! Four films for 50p? How can one not?! They probably stink (amazingly "ODF" is directed by the king of American 80's action films Sam "American Ninja" Firstenberg!) but for 12p a film it was worth a go.

ODF 1 is the best of that bunch, and might hold up more, but they are all nicely cheesy actioners that are pretty interchangeable with each other.

Gotta stop working these late night shifts - too much time to surf between brief bursts of activity.
Just picked up The Crazies, and the Tom Savini version of NOTLD (very dubious about this one but at A$8 you can't go too wrong I guess)

Hills Have Eyes Unrated version-Best Buy has it packaged with a cardboard outer sleeve with plastic on the front which contains red-colored water to resemble blood. Kinda cheesy and cool at the same time.
Also Boxed DVD set of The Office (BBC version)

the Tom Savini version of NOTLD (very dubious about this one but at A$8 you can't go too wrong I guess) Not bad actually. The fact most of it simply replays the original means it can get a bit dull, but it's not bad and the different take on the finale is worth a watch. Some nice Zombie make-up as well...BUT it does have some really bad dummy FX (the lowlights being an awful rubber head being hit with a poker and a truly DIRE dummy shot, when Johnny hits the tombstone). Sadly it was cut to get an 'R' and disgracefully never restored. Some of the missing gore scenes are in the making of.

The Day the Earth Stood Still is the only one i can remember buying lately.
Oh and Anchorman.
I usually buy a fair few monthly but lately i havnt bought much.
Just remebered that i bought Jason Goes to Hell a few weeks back, only reason i did was because i have every other Friday movie and i left the crud till last with Jason X still to get.
