This show starts pretty soon. Its going to be a 4 week mini-series based on the book of short stories by Stephen King. I can't wait to see this, cause I am a huge King fan. Is anyone else going to watch it?

Tonites stories was Battleground & Crouch End. Both was really good, but I liked Battleground better. I will talk about them more after more people get to see them.

I have watched them all and I am enjoying them. The one I am waiting for is You Know They Got A Hell of A Band....I LOVE that story. I was hoping they would do Dolan's Cadillac as well, that is one of my favorite King stories and I read awhile back that there may be a movie in the works but never heard anything about it again. Anyway, I think overall, it has been well done. Didn't care for that silly ending to Crouch End. And I am pretty sure Battleground wasn't even IN Nightmare and Dreamscapes (it was in Night Shift I believe)....lol...but I did enjoy it quite a bit. Fun. And I really liked both Umney's Last Case and The End of the Whole Mess more then the first two.

Yeah Battleground ain't in the book. The ending of Crouch End was a bit weak. Still ain't made the time to watch Last Case and Whole Mess. I have them on tape, and plan to watch them soon.

I've been enjoying the series...I have to say I loved Battleground...I'm not sure if anyone else noticed or not, but there was no dialog in the whole show...There was a couple grunts and moans, but there was no spoken sentences at all...That's awsome! I really enjoyed The end of the Whole Mess too...Great idea, and I could really see somthing like that happening in real life...

I've only seen the ones that were on at 9 o'clock, although I have them all taped (but no time to watch). I loved Battleground, although the whole no talking approach wasn't as successful as I thought it could be. Still good, however. While I have seen part of Crouch End, I didn't finish it yet. It was pretty alright from what I saw.
I didn't much like Umney's Last Case. The beginning was good, and I liked some parts of the end, but I'm not too fond of the changes they made from book to movie.
I didn't see The End of the Whole Mess, yet.
I can't wait for Road Virus, though. That's one of my favourite King short stories. I would have liked to see Dolan's Cadillac, as well, however. I love that one, I think I would have perfered it to Autopsy Room 4 (is that what it's called?). I don't even really know how they'll pull Room 4 off. The ending doesn't seem Network-TV appropriate.

Sadly I have not seen one. I just sit down to watch Tv at random moments for not that long, and I miss or forget about stuff. lol

Ah, so Autopsy Room 4 is going to be the other one? I love the story, but yeah, they will have to change too much, it won't be nearly as effective. Dammit, they should have done Dolan's Cadillac, I believe it would have been the much better choice. It could have worked very well. The Road Virus Heads North was a very good choice though, if it is done right, then it may very well be the best of these. Looking forward to it as well.
I didn't mind the changes to Umney's Last Case as much as I was bothered by the changes in Crouch End. There was one major change that didn't make a lot of sense though in Umney's Last Case and more attention should have been paid to detail, and one other change I thought actually worked pretty well.
Now The End of the Whole Mess was handled pretty well I thought, obviously some of it had to be changed, but I think they took a decent approach. Not as good as the story, but when is it ever? Lol. So far it has been my favorite though.

The one newspaper article I have on it says that it's going to be Autopsy Room 4. Could be wrong, for all I know, but it's been pretty reliable for the past line ups.
There are changes in Crouch End? And they're bad ones? Ah, crap.
I was so happy when I found out Road Virus was going to be one of the stories. It seems like such a perfect choice for an hour-long show, and I think it would translate to screen well. I hope there's no (large plot) changes...
