Right you can make your living for the year in such a short time, and for someone single, with no kids, and who is a bit of an adrenaline junky, its a great job. And also, sometimes you just have aptitude for a job like this. But it hardly seems worth it if all of this doesn't really apply to someone...lol....

So do they just go out for a few weeks a year? What if they went all over the ocean year round for different fishing seasons in different places?

Yeah but it's a different time of the year depending on what part of the world you're in so it seems like fishing would always be in season somewhere in the world. But I imagine you'd need different types of boats and equipment depending on what you were fishing for and what type of waters, etc.

That is true, when I would ge deep sea fishing with my uncle, we would have to use different rigging for different fish. But no matter what we used we alwaysed managed to catch croakers!!!! Dirty bastards!

lol croakers a new show :worlds most annoying catch !! I love deadliest catch Capt Sig is the man my new saying for my employees is ~you can sleep when the season is over~ As someone who live in a large commercial fishing area I have the utmost respect for every one of those guy's on those boats
