I saw JAws 3-D in the theaters as a kid, and Freddy's Dead in theaters much later. Neither one was really all that great IMHO. I got a headache and thought that the movies were completely lame. I'd have loved to catch the House of Wax in 3-D if I were old enough, though. THat Vincent Price masterpiece is probably the only 3-D film that I can think of which was a genuinely excellent film and not just a gimmick movie

Here's another image... doesn't look too PG-13 to me... IF it makes it into the final cut.

So what the hell happened to this stinkfest. It appears to have been shelved.

Not so, limited underground theatrical run over here where I am, with a possible release sometime by late this year. Gonna have to dig through Fango to find it, but I do remember where this was mentioned.

This from a bloke on a another board I frequent:
''I've just finished watching this... and now I want to hurt small animals.
It's bad... really, really bad. Think Children of the Living Dead nd Zombie Bloodbath bad. That's a whole lotta bad. In fact, it's really difficult to summarise the film as your conecntration on it wanders wildly. Personally, I thought about dog's chasing their tails and why those chaps in Israel and Palestine can't just share things. Then, at around the 58 minute mark, my interest peaked - a loud tyre screeching noise came from outside, but I wasn't fast enough to the window to see what happened. Felt a bit gutted actually.
Bad make-up zombies, Sid Haig proving that he's really not that good at acting when he has to play anything other than an over-the-top psycho, and some dodgy 3D shots of hammers and shovels being thrown at the camera. Whoopie.
So yeah, that's how good this is. Check it out...
Please - for the love of God just steal this film off the internet instead of giving money to these hacks.''

That sounds like Sexe, or is it CJ? The biting sarcasm with liberal symoblic references sounds like either one.

Hmm, that sounds like him, now that I think about it. I was leaning toward him or Pando, but those symbolisms took me to CJ. I was thinking it was any of those four.

I still wanna see this. I bought Day of the Dead 2: Contagium for pity's sake. MUST... WATCH... CRAP... ZOMBIE... MOVIES... It has to go a loooong way to turdsville to beat Children of the Living Dead for sheer talentless crappery.

The DVD is out, just don't know if I'll pick it up or not. I've seen it in stores around here but have picked up cheaper stuff.

I actually watched Contagium relatively recently on one of the very rare occasions I had been smoking whoopee weed, and actually got a mindless kick out of it. Children is next in my crap pile - it's been sitting there winking at me for a while, but I can't yet bring myself to do it.

May I suggest that if you are to get anything from COTLD other than stupified you do several bongs and perhaps a couple of buckets.
