I went with dawn myself, but I love Day and Night almost as much. It is a very tough choice to pick between those three fine films

Dawn, no choice at all.
Night, while a classic, hasn't aged all that well. The middle is a little slow with all the bickering, the attacks come at a slow squirt, and it seems trapped in the conventions it helped to create, and could be seen as a parody of the genre now, with so many different influences taken from it directly and indirectly.
Day is the hardest one to sit through, only because of the hostility and anger presented in it. I wanted more zombie scenes to get my attention off the humans, who always seemed to be yelling and barking orders at everyone else. When it's good, it's spectacular, but when it isn't, it seems like torture.
Land, I don't think, has been given enough time to really develop it's reputation, and I think it's the second favorite in the series, but Dawn is a lot more of a fun watch. This one is painfully aware of it's short running time with a hokey and uninspired ending, while Dawn feels more like a cohesive movie.
It may sound like I'm harping on the series, and while I'm not and love all the movies, Dawn was the one I didn't have as many problems with.

Im not sure which I love the most. George started out with Night of the Living Dead and made the movie more about the tension between the characters trying to escape from the zombies and less about the tension between the characters and the zombies. That is what makes the film so great. I love it. Then we have Dawn of the Dead, which I also love, but it seems Romero took a little bit of a different path and didn't focus on the tension between the characters as much. The action of the film is great though and is a real high light in the series. After that we have Day of the Dead. With this one Romero came back in full force showing the tension between the characters. Not as much action as Dawn, but the ending more then delivers. Day of the Dead is great and is perhaps the most under-rated in the series. Finally we come to Land of the Dead. Again we have character tension, but not so much with individuals, but more on a group basis. Us against them kind of thing. It was the people against fiddler's green and the military. The film had a great concept, but somehow Romero just made it feel a bit to commercial. I don't know if I will ever be able to pick a favorite, but right now Iam definitely leaning towards Day of the Dead.
Romero has also said he would like to make a World of the Dead and Simon Baker also said he would like to return for the fifth film. Universal hasn't announced anything official yet. I wonder if it will be made? The world may never know.

I hope tht it doesn't have Simon Baker, as Romero's films hve never been direct sequels like that in the past. Other than that, I really hope it happens

Doesn't appear so. There's no votes on the poll thing for it.

He has been saying he wants to start a new trilogy though with Land that would follow the people in Land. Kinda gay, but if its another zombie film from GAR Im up for it.

Sorry, my head gets a little off sometimes, and I miss the humor in certain posts like that. Generally after thinking about it, I catch it and call myself an idiot for not catching it.
