It's pretty good: parasitic virus strain in infected cow meat served to small town during a celebration and a dysfunctinal family trying to reconnect on a roadtrip try to stop the newly turned zombies of the townspeople.

Sounds pretty interesting...
What makes it good?
I mean, at this point, I see the "food" connection to a zombie type film. That's always an angle I was hoping a film would explore.
But, "dysfunctional family"? Goodness, that's been done to death. As has the "road trip."

It's goofy, quite funny, and manages to put in enough splatter and gore to meet up with the rest of the genre.
The dysfunctional part of the family is a lot more traditional than you would expect, but it focuses more on the fact that the daughter is pissed off at the father for taking his girlfriend along when she hasn't gotten over her mother's death and that he has, so she takes her boyfriend along to piss him off. The road-trip is merely an excuse to get them there, as there's evidence that says they've only been traveling for a short while.

This one actually makes it good, though. This is a far better film than that one.
