Yeah, Matt. Pretty sure you have to have made the poll and all it's options the first time you post it. You can't go back and fix it later.

It kinda makes sense. In the event that we were actually using polls in the way that they are sometimes intended, it sure would screw up the statistical analysis if you could randomly add new options halfway through. Especially considering the voters cannot retract their vote, so doing so would be unhelpful anyway. Even if I wanted to change my vote on one of those threads, I couldn't, so the new option couldn't even get the consideration it might deserve

Well, you can retract your vote actually if you set it up in the very beginning to allow voters to do that, but like you said, we're not doing it in the way that they were intended so it kinda has that affect you mentioned, HNT, that adding new options would totally screw over the options that were presented.
