An expedition in the Amazon to find new species of animals and fish stumbles across an amphibious human-like creature still living in the area and decide to capture it to bring it back alive, but the task proves far more deadly than they expected it to. What did everyone think of this one?

4 because of the great groundbreaking underwater footage. The plot, acting, and generally the film itself probably deserves a 2.5 or 3 as it is dryer than ritz crackers and peanut butter

Totally disagree its one of the perfect examples of classic film.
It was filmed at Seaworld (I believe) in Florida, before it was known by that name
Wish I could have seen it in its original 3D glory

Having just revisited it in the Universal Monsters BD set,I'd say it gets a solid 4 from. Possibly 4.5 for how magnificent the 3D was.Puts some modern films to shame.
