Ugh, maybe I'll just root for the Heat so I can have a team that actually wins a championship. Heat sucked tonight though.
My NCAA teams are UD (University of Dayton), Ohio State, and Indiana University all of which will probably blow hard this year.

Well, the Cavs certainly played alright in the SECOND GAME OF THE SEASON!!! Personally, I think they'll be lucky to win 20 games this year. What do you think?

I agree. The Cavs do have some good young players to build around like JJ Hickson, but it'll probably be years before they are playoff worthy again.
The big question is will the Heat be able to outplay teams like the Celtics in the Lakers in the playoffs? Sure the Heat may have the most talent, but the other great teams have been playing together for years and have the type of chemistry necessary to win a title. I'm not sure what the answer is, guess we'll see next summer lmao the NBA season and playoffs drag on and on and on.....

I think the Heat will be good, but that they are not a championship team this year. Next year they'll ne even better. That said, the bottom line on this thing is that the NBA season never ends, too many teams make the playoffs, and it is just impossible for me to get really excited about this stuff until at least mid December if not later than that.

Same here, I can't really get into it until right b4 the playoffs. NFL has my attention until February.

The Heat are getting better but I don't think i could see them getting past the Lakers in the finals, or even some teams in the East like the Celtics.

Agreed. The Heat have all young players and will need some time to develop. Will they get it or will impatient owners and fans break the team up too early? That's the question.
