A lone fighter dealing with a planet overrun by zombies after an apocalypse tries to safe-guard the last hope for humanity from the ravenous creatures and other parties interested in using it for their own means. What did you think of this one?

Haven't seen it yet,but a friend whose taste I trust told me that it's better than the Will Smith version.

I can't say that, I haven't seen that one, but I can say it was really good and a little better than I expected. Shows it's budget and limited background, but I don't think that should be much of a problem.

I usually can separate books and movies pretty good (and I do like the other versions), but talk about completely missing the point. I'll give this a try, I have had fun with a couple of Asylum titles.

Same here, Matt, though I don't know if Night counts. It's not about the last man left alive. There's more than one person hiding from them rather than a lone individual hunting them down, it's not set following a global apocalypse and a couple other small differences. It's influenced by the story, no doubt, but I see too many differences for it to be called another adaptation of that story.
