While investigating her brother's disappearance, a woman and her father find that the sugar company they both work for is developing a new strain that will increase the normal addictive qualities but turns it's victims into rage-filled zombies and race to stop them before he becomes a new test subject. What did everyone think of this one?

Haven't seen it. I like Michael Ionside and Steven Bauer alright, though. They are two of my favorite B movie actors from the 80's. THe poster looks a bit more sci-fi than zombie, but its obvious from your description that its a zombie film. Anyway, you tell me. Is it good?

Hell no, it's not worth a watch, as if the scoring I gave above was any indication otherwise. Firstly, that cover artwork is bogus beyond hell. Check it: Notice something? I thought so. Moving on. Second, Ironside has ten minutes of screen-time, 95% of that coming in the third act. The rest of his time is spent in a van arriving at the destination where it's all going down talking with Bauer via video conference on how they've gotten to where his presence is required. Therefore, he doesn't appear in the movie at all. Lastly, the plot is beyond retarded and makes no sense at all. It'll take more time than I'm willing to embark on with explaining all that's wrong with it, but trust me, it's pretty loopy to start with and doesn't get better as time goes on. As if that wasn't enough, here's a fantastic review of it that's about as truthful and closest to my feelings of a film as I've ever read: www.dreadcentral.com/reviews/mutants-2009-0
