Exploitation board?

Anyone down for an exploitation board or sub-board within horror in general? I'll be the mod.

We don't have the ability to add staff members without Phantom who is on hiatus and we also had a discussion a while back about there being too many staff members already and perhaps it scaring away potential registerees. A little later if things pick up and we get more members we could expand the staff. But as far as an exploitation board goes that's fine by me if you're willing to start threads and get discussions going in it.

Expoitation's not really my bag,and in fact it's one of the reasons why I love this place so much,as there's a distinct lack of it.Horror's my thing.New,Old, studio, independent,colour, B&W, 3D, 2D.You name it.I love it.Exploitation just leaves a bad taste in my mouth,as mostly it's misongynistic.

I don't see the need for an actual board as Exploitation and Horror are just about one and the same, especially back in the 70s when Exploitation was pretty much the only Horror stuff being made, so I'm totally sold on the idea of a straight-up board here. So many of the ones we have in there go unused as it is anyway that it'll only clutter the forum even more.

If this was the very, very beginning launch of the site, maybe I can see the appeal of doing it, but now, I'm not too sold on it, since there's also the question of defining what goes in there and what gets put into Horror-in-General. The way we have it, seems to work fine (wanna talk about the directors, fine you know where it goes. Want to talk zombies? It's there. A new Hellraiser, Saw, or Asian film coming out, pretty simple you know where to go) I think everything else can go into the one big section.

Yea, Matitou a lot of it is pretty misogynistic. Look at Ilsa though, she's kickin' ass and taking names. haha

haha, Ilsa's a pretty mysoginistic character herself. I am definitely willing to discuss exploitation films with you, though man. Always did enjoy doing that. I'd say that horror in general is fine so long as pics and clips are limited. Obviously, the password protected board would likely be a better place if your posts are gonna include clips and pics from Salo and shit. Your judgment should guide you, brother

Yea, I'll just stick to posters and maybe a trailer here and there. If someone is interested they'll go out and watch it on their own.
