While on a whale-watching trip in Iceland, a group of tourists find themselves under attack by a fanatical bunch of whalers protesting the recent whale-hunting ban and must escape before they're all killed. What did everyone think of this one?

I think it has potential with that title to unseat Ed Wood and Herschel Gordon Lewis as the reigning champion of movies that are so bad they're enjoyable. Is it that wonderfully awful or just run of the mill awful (I think I am ruling out the possibility that its genuinely good, but if that is the case, that would be cool too).

I admit the cover and premise do get me interested.

For being Iceland's first horror movie, I think it's not that bad. Some decent stalking scenes (the initial rampage across the boat is one such example) and the premise is decent enough to unleash this style, as there's been absolutely horrid examples for a rampage in past slasher films so this isn't that big of a deal. In terms of gore, though, it's pretty disappointing as it'll show them about to be impaled with something, only for the force to carry them off-camera before you see what's happening, or it'll cut to a witness' reaction to the events, then cut back to the gory aftermath, where you see the blood-laced body with the weapon lodged wherever it's supposed to be or whatever it's used to deliver the kill. Also, it's not really played campy at all, it's a lot more serious than it sounds.

Even more important, it's a pretty decent film in it's own right from a country not really that known for producing Horror films (it's billed in most places as "Iceland's first slasher film") so as fans we should support this kind of situation so as to ensure more comes out from countries other than our own.
