So, this has been out for a while now, and rather than a traditional poll, we'll do this where what's your thoughts on this newly released box-set as a whole.

Don't have it but it looks pretty sweet. Is this the version of the set that you won GL?

Is the hockeymask any good? I could use a decent one.

Yeah I'm not rebuying them either, but could be a nice pickup for somebody who doesn't own them yet and can get the set at a fair price.

To answer your inquiries:
The mask is a promotional gimmick. It looks to be made of a medium-quality plastic and it's painted to look like it's been through the ringer like Jason was (it's all painted to look like it's covered with dirt smudges and blood smears) but it's just a gimmick and not a really well-done replica.
The entire box it comes in is barely larger than a traditional DVD case. When placed alongside another one, it's about an inch, maybe less, taller and wider, it's just a lot thicker to hold everything, but when it's placed alongside a normal DVD, it's bigger but not by much. An inch in both of those dimensions is pushing it.
The book is what houses the DVDs, so it's about the same size. In the picture below, the image of Jason ready to slash with the machete and the book with the flipped-open page just above the 3D glasses are one and the same. It's got 8 pages, one slot for each DVD, and features the following:
A three-sentence plot description. The special features to be found on the DVD for the movie in question. A random assortment of facts about the movie in question. A hockey mask to indicate how many were killed in the movie in question. A listing of the various weapons used in the movie in question. That tiny-print credits listing that see placed at the bottom of the back on every DVD made which lists cast and important technical credits for the movie in question.
