After learning of his daughter's abduction by a gang of vicious vampires, a priest defies the local clergy and sets out with several friends to stop her, running across the vampires' far more deadly plan in the process. What did everyone think of this one?

2.5/ out of 5.
After a promising start and interesting Church as State angle,Priest fell away as the obvious plot "twists" piled up.I found myself pining for Mad Max and star Paul Bettany's much better Legion.

I felt much the same about this as about Legion. Intriguing setup, attractive but pedestrian execution. I liked the city scenes early on, very reminiscent of Mega-City One. Once it goes desert it all goes downhill.

I realised that both Priest and Legion have the same director, so that would explain your similar opinions on them GP

I didn't like this movie at all. I liked Paul Bettany in Legion more.

No desire to see it, especially after watching Legion, only to get ripped off with a non ending.
