Yep, I read this article and forgot to post it. But yeah, definitely looks like he is back in.... From Moviehole.netLost Boys 2 scribe talks Haim return Date : February 13, 2008 Writer : Clint Morris
“Lost Boys 2” writer Hans Rodionoff dropped us a line to corroborate reports that Corey Haim had indeed been reinstated for the sequel.
“Sam Emerson was in the earliest drafts of the screenplay, and when it looked like we weren't going to be able to cast Corey Haim, I begrudgingly took the scenes out and wrote around the holes. Recently, I got a call that said that Corey would be able to do the scenes, and Warner Bros. was happy enough with the movie that they felt like spending a little extra to work Sam Emerson into the movie would be money well spent. So, I dug back into my old files and found the deleted scenes with Sam Emerson and sent them to PJ. I really feel like Sam Emerson is a crucial part of the Lost Boys legacy, and I'm glad that his scenes will end up in the film.”
The film, due for release in July, is heading into re-shoots this week. It’s the first time since 1997’s “Busted” that old hombres Corey Haim and Corey Feldman have shared a film set.

So, with the two Coreys in it, will this one still be about vampires, or will it be a docdrama about how child actors who begin working at such a young age and develop debilitating drug habits are "Lost Boys" indeed

lol, good point. Either way my life will look good in comparison. I didn't become such a heroin addict that I lost all of my teeth like Haim, nor did I morph myself into a Michael JAckson clone like Feldman.

Looks promising, but as we all know trailers can be misleading.

So did anyone else end up seeing this one?
I thought it was OK, but not a patch on the great fun of the original.
So now they are working on part 3,with Feldman now taking the lead role.

I haven't seen it but was wondering about it. But Feldman was the worst part of the original so I'm aprehensive.

Part 2 has shown up on TNT a couple times if you're interested in checking it out for free, so keep an eye out for it.

I've amended the thread title to include further installments as I watched part 3 tonight. and talk about crowd pleasing, especially if you're a fan of the original - so Jen I'd recommend seeing this asap . It makes a smart move by making the Frog brothers the centre of the story, but it is just downright fun - and funny.Tears shreds off the Twilight fad, reality TV, general movie cliches, and ultimately itself, while featuring a few poignant moments in light of Corey Haim's death. This is the sequel part 2 should have been, and save for the last few moments of that film, and a throwaway line here, we can pretend it never existed.
