After a devastating plague has reduced most of mankind to a vampiric state with small, isolated pockets remaining, a small group tries to survive a series of encounters with a ravenous group of vampires that started the apocalypse. What did everyone think of this one?

I wish I knew this was on Saturday, I would have recorded it.

I've never heard of this but it sounds good and has positive reviews. I'll have to see it.

Sounds promising. I'm gonna keep my eyes open for this one.

I think you guys'll like it a lot. Reminiscent in a lot of ways of 'Zombieland' only with a slightly more serious tone to it, but it's still pretty good and I think you'll enjoy it.

Thought this looked pretty good, it's on my Netflix queue, I will move it to the top.

This movie was a very pleasant surprise. I liked it a lot and have been meaning to watch it again. It's kind of a super grim road movie set in a world similar to I Am Legend (the book, not the movie). 4.

This was an absolute cracker for mine. Think The Road meets 30 Days of Night and you are getting close. I have watched the bastard twice now and can honestly say it is one of the better indy offerings out of the US in some time.

I saw it more as Zombieland with vampires instead of zombies, not 30 Days of Night. Don't get me wrong, good stuff all around here, but I don't get that film as a comparison, Toad. An explanation here?

I liked it but it didn't knock my socks off like I was hoping.I'm tossing up between a high 2 and a low 3.Probably a low 3,because it had a nasty streak that I really liked, but the social commentary was a bit heavy handed, and making the religious fanatic a 'super vampire' towards the end was a bit contrived . Director Jim Mickle is definitely a talent to watch, though I slightly preferred his earlier Mulberry St. though.

Really enjoyed this, characters are sympathetic, it's bleak and has some really well done, disturbing moments. I had a bit of a problem with what TWD mentioned as well, but it actually didn't hurt my enjoyment of the movie because overall I think it's a top-notch vampire movie. A solid 4.

I liked this movie, even though it was a bit cliched and the "Ain't life on the road hard?" thing has been done a billion times before. I liked the interaction betwen the father and son and the people they met along the way.
