Realizing that their daughter's strange behavior is being brought about by a demonic possession, a family hires their troubled priest brother-in-law to perform an exorcism that should drive the being out. What did everyone think of this one?

I really enjoyed this, a little more complex and disturbing than I was expecting. The family is sympathetic and watching what happens to them is not only creepy, but sad. I think some of the acting was weak, some was surprisingly good though. All in all, I was really impressed and think it's a strong possession film, with kind of a different spin. I give it a 4, probably more of 3.5.

Indeed I feel the same way on almost all accounts there, Jen. I did enjoy the family struggles more than usual, the involvement with the priest is surprisingly original and it feels more so than not, yet it doesn't quite reach the upper echelon of the genre's efforts.
