Hmm... tough call. I'd say primarily it's a musical, but it also fits each other category listed also. What do you think of "Shock Treatment"? That film has grown on me after repeated viewings.

LOL...all of the above I suppose, but yes, primarily a musical. Love the movie actually, while not a huge fan of musicals, there are a few I have a real soft spot for, this being one of them. I have yet to see Shock Treatment, I was told to avoid, avoid, avoid.....I might have to see it now.....Phantom exactly how many viewings before it grew on you?

It's a musical homage to old horror and b-movie scifi flicks that happens to be very funny and became a cult favourite. And it's not as good as Hair.

Al of the above definitely, Ive seen the movie countess times, and also the commentary track just as many times, saw the actually performance of it maybe 7 or 8 times, including once where I went on Halloween night and was picked for second place in a costume contest.I was dressed as King Diamond, they thought I was Gene Simmons, so I won for Gene Simmons dressed as King Diamond......go figure.
Just recently I watch it with Firestar, it was her first time seeing it and she really liked it.
I actualy likedd Shock Treatent the very first time I

Yeah I really liked it the first time I saw it with Brax. I had never taken the time to watch it before but it was well worth it. Tim Curry was absoultely amazing in it, I'm actaully thinking of going to see it at a theare near me that shows it around midnight on the weekends.
