I pretty much agree. The movie itself is not anything worth writing home about, and watching it in your house is boring. Going to a midnight showing and watching people flick their lighters and throw their toast is kind of amusing though

I love watching it anytime, its always fun to see Tim Curry in drag, that never gets old, great music also, plus the DVD has a commentary track with Riff Raff and Magenta, Ive listened to it dozens of times. Seen the movie more time then I can count, never gets boring to me....
Anyone seen Shock Treatment the "sequel" to Rocky Horror?

I went with cult. Although it does fit into all those genres nicely and is primarily a musical, it's definitely a cult film with it's age. My girlfriend loved this movie and use to go to that crazy shit on the Queen Mary down in Long Beach when she was in high school where they have people re-enacting the scenes on stage as the movie plays, but I think she has kind of liked the film less and less over the years. I never cared for it at all, maybe because I really can't stand (with the exception of Cannibal! The Musical) musicals. I hope I had nothing to do with her falling out of love with the movie though.
