I really enjoyed this for the atmospherics and the premise - to say too much would be to give things away. Certainly not a gore-hounds delight, but veru original film making.
A four from me.
Though I hear there is a US remake in the wings?

Though I hear there is a US remake in the wings? Its already out on DVD here, have yet to watch it though, wanted to see this one first....I don't think it did very well, and I haven't exactly heard great things....no shock there..... www.imdb.com/title/tt0454919/Anyway, we started watching this last night, but I wasn't feeling well, so we had to cut it off. Hopefully we will finish it tonight.

At times, fairly psychologically unnerving, and there are some great ideas; it is a tad depressing, no surprise, since it is a film about loneliness and despair....... But it is a bit uneven......so a 4 from me as well.

Creepy, bleak and unrelentingly grim to the end. Good stuff. 4
(The remake is fairly crap but kind of looks nice.)

Saw this last night amongst a double-bill of Asian horror, and this one winds up as a 2. Overlong, not all that interesting and quite dull for the most part, especially since I'm about as clueless as an infant when it comes to technology (I can master turning on a computer, getting online, opening a word document and getting into the music player/library there, but that's about it) so this one just flew right over my head most of the time, and that's not a good sign. Some of the ghost stuff was okay, but overall, I didn't really think it was all that good, but I fear I wasn't the audience for this as was explained earlier. I think the remake here is slightly better, but really, that's not saying much either.
