I just order this from amazon.com. www.amazon.com/Werewolf-Paranoiac-Nightmare-Creatures-Frankenstein/dp/B0009X770O/ref=tag_stp_st_edpp_urlI was looking at it for a few weeks, and was going to get on here and ask if I sould get it, but I said the hell with it and got it anyway. Anyone ele have this, and was it worth getting? I ain't seen any of the 8 movies it comes with. Here is the movies in the set. Brides of Dracula Curse of the Werewolf Phantom of the Opera Paranoiac Kiss of the Vampire Nightmare Night Creatures Evil of Frankenstein I have looked this all up on imdb, and most of them sound pretty good to me.

Brides of Dracula is awesome. I kinda liked Kiss of the VAmpire as well. I haven't seen all of the others, but they are obviously not the gems of the Hammer lineup. As long as you didn't pay an arm and a leg for it, I'd say you can't go wrong with a Hammer set even if it isn't all stellar films

Well, then what are you worrying about, man? I'm sure that it will be worth getting virtually for free

Yeah I did not have to pay anything for them at all. All I did want drink pop like I always do. lol I read the same type of stuff on amazon GL, I was worried about them locking up. Most of the time I use my PS2 or Xbox to watch DVD's so if one thing fucks up I always have a back up. I aslo have 2 DVD players not counting my PC. I have 2 because one is a DVD/VCR and the other plays DIVX.

I was just warning you, cause a friend on another forum got that set and had the same experience that they mentioned in the Rebuttal Witness of the review come up, which is why I've never bought that set myself, otherwise I would have. Just letting you know.

I just picked up this set the other day, mainly cause I wanted Curse of the Werewolf which as far as I know is unavailable on Dvd any other way.Though as I had never seen any of the films, it was sure worth the $17 AUS it cost me.
