Could've sworn we had this thread here, but since I can't find it in the forum, one of my top favorites, right behind The Simpsons and Futurama as my favorite animated show and on my top 10 all-time.

Family guy the first couple of seasons were great but now it's all cutaways and pop culture refrences aimed to like 14 year olds. Although some cutaways did make me laugh like herbert fighting the tree, the hinden peter, where's my money parts 1 and 2. others i just don't get. and now that clevelands gone although a minor character he could hurt the show becuase alot of its best jokes involved cleveland.

When did Cleveland go?

Thank god Cleveland left. I hated him. There's only two times I've ever laughed at him:
The recurring gag where Peter somehow blows a hole in the side of his house and he falls from the bathtub in the second floor to the front yard.
When he's an auctioneer and has the giant piano (I think it was, I don't remember what exactly hit him) but he then starts talking with the same slow drawl he currently has.
That's it. Those are the only times I've ever laughed at him. I was glad to see him go.

When did Cleveland go? Cleveland left to do his own show ( yes there is an actual cleveland show) so thus he moved away from qouhog. the season premiere didn't mention his leaving though.

That's because he left in the premier of his show. It takes place before Family Guy's episode, so in that universe, he's already gone because The Cleveland Show had him leaving Quohog. There'd be no need to explain why he left. The characters have gone on with their lives.

actually i agree with them on this. the episode was joking about abortion. basically the episode was that meg has an abortion. This is still a big issue today and seth was out of line.

But it was still probably funnier than just about most other sitcom episodes out there, which is more important than whether a few people get offended.

Considering their past DVD release patterns, I doubt highly that they'll edit it down. It'll finally give them truth in advertising when they said the episodes are uncut and uncensored.

Seth Macfarlene is the Lord of comedy. Satan has blesseed him with an incredable ability to do evil to the disease known as Christianity. I love it. The first few series were great but recently it's become awesome. Love this show even more than sandwhiches. Goddamn, this show kicks mega-arse!
