Here Is My review of the dark Knight now as a word of caution anything and everything goes. nothings gets off easy this includes heath ledger enjoy
Plot: The dark knight takes place 1 year after the events of batman begins and batman is...i guess still on patrol of the joker who had a cameo at the end of batman begins ( gordon showed batamn the jokers card) and he must stop joker from destroying gotham...well i really wish it was taht simple. if it's been 1 year since batman was told about the joker then what the hell was batman doing the entire time!. i mean seriously if there's a crazed whacko running around killing people would you wait 1 Year to stop him! NO! Now the plot begins to not only get boring but confusing literally after the scarecrow scene. i mean Batman goes to tokyo to stop that lau guy....why? why is he the big deal and joker isnt? bullshit. also batmans freind rachel dawes is now gonna get married to harvey dent...okay and bruce just knew about them dating? i mean you'd think that since there best freind he wouldve known that by the time in the film. Now again with The Joker it just gets kinda annoying. i mean all but 1 of jokers scenes made sense. the scene that was useless to me was the scene where he talks about his scars the first time. The character he said this to was named Gambol who literally had no purpose in this movie. The Plot remained inconsistent and bounced everywhere. the plot gets a 1
Acting: i'm gonna amke this short and sweet. Heath ledger was clearly a great actor in this despite the fact that he was too into the role. bale despite the horrible batman voice was...well he was okay. when he was bruce he seemed like a drama queen. Harvey and rachel had zero chemistry and it was just boring and slightly painful to see both of them on the screen. it wans't the actors fault but the writers faut. everyone did a decnet job across the board. acting gets a 4
Costumes
There weren't a whole lot of costumes for the film so i'll review 3 costumes. Batman Joker and Two-face. Batmans was...just awful. i'm sorry but he's supposed to be intimidating right? I mean the reason for the change was bcuase chrsitain bale had difficulty in the previous costume so they redseigned it. It looks like a futuristic batman or something. awful just awful. Joker had one basic costume in this movie which was fine. it showcased his comic book roots ( purple coat and green vest and purple pants ect) and was just pefect for him. two-face didn't really have much of a costume it was just his gray suit but one side was burned so it was okay. batmans costume gets a 2 Jokers a 5 and two-faces a 3.
The Music: was boring and added nothing to the movie. that's it. that's all i can say. since it was barely in the film i can only give it a 1 sorry.
Writing: The dialogue in this movie wasn't bad but alot of it was just unsesscary. and making scarecrow into a drug dealer is a No No and i basically covered writing in the plot so its gets the same score.
accuracy to the comic: now this is where i despise the dark knight. Two-face first off isn't some sympathetic whiney bitch in the comics. he's a cold heartless killer in the comics. joker was also very wrong. he may be dark and twisted but he has a sense of humor too. Your supposed to laugh at him in which the only time i laughed at joker was the magic trick scene. batman was a hypocrite in this. He says he'll never kill anyone right? well when two-face was gonna flip the coin for the afte of gordons son batman tackled hima nd two-face fell off the building and died. that's murder.
Pure and simple. so accuracy scores a 1 as well.
Final thoughts: while the Dark knight may not be the best batman of them all it surely wasn't the worst ( that title still goes to Batman and Robin). Inconsistent plot, Zero character devolpment and bland music make this one boring Batman. i'm sorry it's just Boring. The Only character on there that enertained me was Joker. the dark knight overall scores a 3/5 now if you think it's the best batman that's fine but this is just my personal opinioin. Thanks and have a nice day
