I'll throw a vote to Christian Bale. I like him and Keaton in the role about equally though. The only complaint I have about Bale is his Batman voice....a little too much.

in fairness in TDK bales voice was teh same as in batman begins. the director christopher (douchebag) nolan made it raspier to amke batman sound scary.

I never even noticed the whole "voice" thing with Bale. Granted, I only saw bb and tdk once each, but didn't Kilmer and Keaton use corny sounding raspy voices too? Seemed like they did to me. I don't remember Cloonys cuz I blocked that memory out lol.

I mean, its a darker alter ego, makes perfect sense. Again, I just thought it was a bit too much. And Keaton's Batman voice was different from what I remember, but not nearly as dramatic. Been awhile since I have seen it though.

Yes, I have seen that one. I used to love that show and watched it on Comedy Central all the time. Then they got greedy and released each episode as a stand alone movie rather than as a television series box set. That still irks me to no end.

I didn't realize there were single releases, but even the box sets are ridiculously expensive, in my opinion. I bought one collection (each has 4 of the episodes with the uncut film included) for Ron last year for Christmas (the one with Prince of Space, which is his personal favorite), but I doubt we will be owning too many of them (though I have to eventually have Manos: Hands of Fate, that's just too good). Unless they have gone down in price. We just Netflix them.

Used on amazon has served me very well. I've recently started collecting the Sopranos sets. These were $60 each when they came out and are still only down to $35 on amazon and most places. I've been getting them used for $10 with minor minor wear on the boxes and seeminly pristine discs. I have the first 3 seasons which is 12 discs total and have yet to have one even skip or have any problems at all. I know you're not buying online at the moment Jen but keep that in mind for when u do.

I will, I actually have ordered from Deep Discount this month, so I might as well give it a try. If you haven't had any problems, its worth a shot. Especially with Christmas coming up soon.

that is true. wow no love for lewis wilson the first batman. well in fairness the movie serials he was in were very low budget and bob kane batmans creator hated them. although the serials incorporated a few things. the batcave ( or as it was called then the bats cave) and the bat signal. also the batmobile was intoduced i think. wilson also reprised his role for a 1948 batman film.
