Great to hear, CT.
And Jen, doesn't that prove my original statement with the film, that it's like a remake for a film that was never made? Your opening line made it seem that way.
There was just so much good stuff going on here: The wall of bones exploding from the secret hiding place, the ghost seeking revenge in the final act, the attack on the grandfather in the forest, the screaming demon in the store, the early scenes of the son being possessed and walking around the house, and much more that it was nearly impossible for me not to like. Coupled with an utterly fantastic atmosphere, great visuals, engrossing mystery, cool effects and a frenetic pace, this here gets a 5 hands down.

Yeah, the ghost in the store was a good scene.
The leading lady of this one was in the movie Slackers, a favorite comedy of mine from earlier in the decade.

Yeah, the ghost in the store was a good scene. I thought that was the only really good scare.....I agree, that was a good scene. And it does seem like it should be a remake of an Asian film, GL.....I just didn't think it was as good as many of the films it borrowed from.

That was one of the best jump scenes ever, it got me quite high up. Only The Evil Dead has made me go higher than this one, which is a real compliment.
