Not sure if many have heard the sad news that Dan O'Bannon,writer and or/director of many classics like Alien,Return of the Living Dead and Total Recall and one of my personal faves Dead and Buried has died Such a shame. www.dreadcentral.com/news/35037/rest-peace-dan-obannon

That's a bummer. Always fun to watch in interviews and extras. A true eccentric. Will watch Dark Star today in remembrance.

THat is really a shame. ROTLD is one of my all time favorite films (definitely the best horror comedy IMHO), and he certainly has his name attached to some serious and fascinating work.
I am sorry to hear that he has died, and I suppose its never to late to simply say thanks for showing me a good time with your films

Very sad. I also love Dead and Buried, Matt ( just saw it for the first time recently) and much of his other work. Rest in Peace, Dan.
