This is how I feel, pretty much, I know I will see it, but I definitely won't be paying to see it at the theater, even if it makes it to our local theater (and horror movies rarely do). But the trailer doesn't look bad. Again, its just not Michael Myers to me.

I only go to the theater When a friend wants to so I never really know what I'll see in the theater and what I won't. It's always just a spur of the moment thing for me unless it's a release I've been waiting for for ages and this certainly isn't one of those.

I only ever go when its something I have really been waiting to see (and rarely do those films even make it to this theater...ugh) or if we REALLY need a night out...lol...not much to do around here.... Typically, people annoy me so much, I avoid theaters.

These are the last three films I've seen in theaters:
King Kong-2005 The Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake-2003 Freddy vs Jason-2003
I'm not much of a theater goer at all, I need to be alone with my thoughts when I experience a film, I don't need people leaning in and asking me what's going on or why they just did that. I just always have the urge to say "I'm watching it for the first time as well, you idiot, let's watch so we can find out together!"

Yeah I know what you mean, people drive me nuts in the hteatre. Luckily, the theatre near me does a showing before noon, so its always empty and like half the price to get in. Better all the way around IMO.

Well, at least you can do that. I've never had the luxury of doing that. The closest time that happened was when me and my mom went to go see Black Mask in the theaters and the crowd didn't show up until about halfway in, almost when it got good so it was like they knew or something.

I'm guessing theaters stay fairly full in an around LA. Kind of like how they eat lots of seafood in the northeast, smoke cigarettes by the cartonful in Kentucky, and drive American cars in Detroit.
