Todays Marathon will consist of the last of the VHS cassettes that I have left in my movie collection. I have recently been phasing out all of my VHS' for DVDs. The only ones I have left are music oriented, and a few movies, most of which cannot be found on DVD, and thats the only reason why I still have them.
The outdated VHS List:
1. The Lonely Guy
2. Man on the Moon
3. My Dying Bride (11/11/93 interview)
4. G.I. JOE The movie (animated)
5. Sepultura: Third World Chaos
6. Moonspell and My Dying Bride "bootleg" (Krakow Poland 1996)
7. Howard Stern: Private Parts
8. Let Sleeping Corpses Lie
9. Rear Window
My first film is one of my favorite Steve Martin movies, not only is it a very unappreciated Steve Martin film, its pretty obscure as a movie itself. It has some of the most quotable lines of any comedy. Based on an actual book entitled "Guide to living for the Lonely Guy" or something like that. I thought about maybe getting that book at one point...........I don't need it now
Just finished watching Man on the Moon, I think its one of Jim Carry's best roles, its a damn good movie, I remember when it was about to come out and hey were talking about the actors who worked with Andy Kaufman on Taxi and how the funeral scene for them it was like reliving his death all over again. For them at least and I think for most of he people involved in the scene the tears were all real, particularly those of the people who he had worked with.......made me
The interview with My Dying Bride is only a few seconds long but I haven't seen it for a long time, it was the very first bootleg VHS of a "Death Metal/Doom" band that I ever bought. Ordered from some guy on the Internet a long time ago, its not just the interview, there are two music videos and a live concert from 1993. The music videos are "I am the Bloody Earth" and "For You"
Up right now as of 8:40 am is G.I. JOE The Movie, the movie was made in the 2nd season of the show, it aired on TV in 5 parts, each airing every day for a week, forget what channel it was on. It was one of my favorite cartoons when I was growing up, Transformers being my ultimate favorite. I can still remember rushing home every day after school to watch them, they use to air one right after each other.
The Baroness was so ..........for a cartoon character
The high point was of course seeing Cobra Commander's face for the first time ion the history of the series.
