I just found out that one of the Heavy Metal gods is ill, Ronnie James Dio the singer from such bands as Elf, Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Dio, Heaven and Hell has the early stages of stomach cancer. Man if Dio dies I don't know what Id do, he is one of my all time favorite singers, a true legend, probably most well known for creating the Heavy Metal devil horns sign.

Too bad. Always a shame when somebody is ill like that. Not a huge Dio fan personally, but I certainly wish him the best and hope that he can make a recovery

Indeed, take care and rest Ronny. We still need one more Dio album from you before you're gone.
And, incidentally, I talked about this in my predictions for the year a couple months ago, as this is actually old news. I think he's going in for his third treatment or so, from the last I've heard about it.

Well, Ronnie passed away today. I don't really think it's possible to overstate his influence. I'm sure he will be deeply missed by his many fans

I was kinda expecting it to happen, but it still comes as a shock when it actually does. I do feel your pain, as I loved his career as well.
