George P. Wilbur. I love the Halloween 4 mask alot becuase it actually looks like a mask you'd find ina drug store. The shatner mask you could tell was custom amde and same with the others. 6 had an awesome mask.

Nick Castle for sure, he not only defined the character but he created an archtype. He has been imitated far beyond the Halloween saga, and as good as some of the other Myers' were, they were all just following in his footsteps.

I don't really think he was imitated that much. I mean, yeah, the film's been ripped off enough, but I haven't seen a whole lot of the original Michael all that much, and see more of his actions in the sequels being imitated (or rather they're imitating the others, I forgot how that works sometimes) but I don't see a lot of the original Michael's actions in the genre's serial killer collection.

Well having seen only the first 3 and last 2 Id say Castle, though I didnt understand why no one likes the guy from the second, I see no difference, I dont think Castle did anything special, he just walked, but he was the first so.

To me, I think the 'he-came-first' argument is such utter bullshit. That means nothing, there's tons of different areas where being first doesn't mean anything special.
Was the very first Model-T Henry Ford rolled off the conveyor belt in 1903 the very best car ever made?
Was the Wright Brother's plane the very best plane ever built?
Was the very first building built thousands of years ago that had a second story put on it the very best building ever built?
Was the very first nuclear power plant ever constructed the most efficient plant ever built?
I could go off on a laundry list of similar type situations where saying they're the first at something is just such crap. Make something else as part of the argument, but to solely say that one bit as the defining feature just utterly pisses me off at it's stupidity.
