Okay, fairly simple: who did the best job as Michael Myers in the series? Base your decision based solely on the work they did in the movie, nothing else, and give some reasoning behind your decision.
Mine after a couple responses.

I'm afraid that I'm just not knowedgeavble enough about the differences to decide. My vote probably should go to Castle, but that is jsut because I like the original film the best. I don't know if that really has anything to do with his performance as Myers. So I will abstain from voting for now and rewatch a fe of these films to be sure

Fair enough. The poll will be here.

Nick Castle. And whoever played him in Curse of Michael Myers did a great job too.

I went with Nick Castle, the way he sat up behind Laurie has to be one of the creepiest things I have seen in a horror movie, no matter how simple it is. Simplicity is the hallmark of genious!

I'm gonna go with George P. Wilbur (Part 4 and 6) Phyiscally imposing, responsible for creating a nice level of suspense in both movies, the walk is down pretty great, and my personal favorite masks in the series.
Come on, I wanted reasoning here for discussion purposes, where are they?

Since Castle had so many votes, I went with Wilbur. 4 & 6 are my two favorite sequels and he did well in both, despite having to wear not so great versions of the Myers mask. I though Michael was especially menacing in 6, with some great kills.

Great reasoning, CT. I prefer the mask in the later ones, preferably the one in Part 6. That roughness to it and the black eyes combine into an absolutely creepy image.

Yeah, I didn't mind the mask in 6 so much, it was the ones in 4 and 5 that were the poorest IMO.

Yeah, I agree. 5 had the weakest mask in the series, but I kinda liked 4's. It wasn't great, but still decent enough.

Michael looked horrible in 5, and the movie was horrible too.

Totally agree. Not a lot of good in that one.

I liked Brad Loree. He made Michael scarier.
