Five individuals appear before a judge awaiting their final fates, and their last acts are reviewed: A woman murders her husband on Christmas Eve, only to be confronted with a homicidal maniac dressed as Santa Claus; a husband who is running away with his mistress becomes caught in a cycle of terror when his car crashes; a real estate prospector uses cruelty to drive a kindly old widower out of his home, but goes a little too far; a businessman at the brink of bankruptcy discovers an idol that can grant three wishes, if the wisher is willing to suffer the consequences; an old Army major who runs a home for the blind like a military base incurs the wrath of his residents. What did everyone think of this one?

It's fantastic - the first story with Joan Collins being terrorised on xmas eve by an escaped lunatic dressed as Santa, was redone as one of the first episodes in the TV series.
