Well, simple enough:
Does the original Child's Play still scare you when you watch it?

Nope. Wasn't scary to begin with and it isn't now either. It is fun to watch for a lot of reasons, but being scary is not one of 'em

Nope. Wasn't scary to begin with and it isn't now either. It is fun to watch for a lot of reasons, but being scary is not one of 'em I agree, never found it scary. There was one good jump scare I thought, but of course that loses it's effectiveness after the first viewing. Other than that, it's more silly than anything. I still think it's a lot of fun though.

I'm going against the grain, I gotta go Yes for the simple fact that one of the main ideas that always gets me worked up is things not doing what they're supposed to do. A doll should not be moving around on it's own without batteries, if they apply to make it operate or not, and to me the concept works because of the serious tone, which is still kept in the second one but lost by the third. As for the original, though, I gotta go with yes on this one.
