So, it's getting to be that time of the year (and I'm really kicking myself for not thinking of starting this one earlier when there was more time for discussion on this) but what TV show, or shows, had good, enjoyable Holiday-themed episodes you still watch and enjoy every time it gets to this season?

The holiday episodes of shows I love that come to mind....
Buffy the Vampire Slayer~ "Amends" and "Pangs" Gilmore Girls ~ "Forgiveness and Stuff" Supernatural~ "A Very Supernatural Christmas" Psych~ "Gus's Dad May Have Killed an Old Guy"
I might think of more.

I don't know that any of my favorite shows really have holiday episodes per se. The League had one, and it was pretty funny, but mostly the shows I like don't really do that stuff. I don't really watch so much television as I used to, but I don't really remember either Boardwalk Empire or Dexter having a specific holiday episode.

If we're talking about individual episodes, I absolutely love sitting down with "Home Improvement" with the one where the family's creating a play for school and everyone has different jobs that get screwed up. From the costuming disaster to the flying rig not working and all the trauma when Mark finds out Santa died earlier in the year, great stuff.
Though I still think the show that had the best luck overall with Christmas shows was "Married with Children. There is just no shortage of awesome Christmas episodes from them and it's the only show I've seen that has done Christmas episodes right. I love just about all of them with the exception of the one where Al and Marcy are in the bar talking about what happened with the past and they flash back to it. I never cared for that one, but that was easily the weakest Christmas one, all the others were pure awesome. From Al and Peg unable to find anything to watch on TV except 'It's a Wonderful Life' as Bud and Kelly try to get a jukebox past them into their room; to Al and Griff having to work as elves in the mall to earn extra money for presents; the mall Santa crashing in the backyard and even the classic "It's a Bundy-ful Life," the show had true classics that were really fun and entertaining.

I'm not much of a sitcom fan, but I do remember a couple of the Married With Children Christmas episodes as being pretty funny. I think All in the Family (probably my favorite sitcom) had a couple of good ones as well.

Oh and I forgot the Tales from the Crypt episode "And All Through the House".....I think that is what we are going to do tonight, revisit some of these episodes. Happy Holidays everyone.

Well, my girlfriend and I absolutely hate dramas, we're more sitcom people so that's pretty much all we do on Christmas Eve, especially when we're with the family who are like us in that hardly anyone in either of our families really like dramas so we just stick with sitcoms.

I love watching the Step by Step Christmas specials. Hilariously bad. Have a couple of them on dvd, it's a new Christmas tradition for me.

Man, it's been ages since I saw that show. I don't remember them all that much, will have to see when it's on and try to catch them.
