So, looking solely at Jackie Chan's 90s films from Hong Kong only, what did you think of them?

Not necessarily my favorite era, but I do have one of my all-time favorites here, the incredible 'Twin Dragons' which is one of my all-time favorites. Other good stuff includes the fun 'Supercop' with Michelle Yeoh that produced an equally enjoyable sequel, the underrated but definitely inferior 'First Strike' as well as the highly underrated 'City Hunter' that gets unfairly overlooked in his catalog despite boasting a better all-star cast than most of his more famous films. Featuring Richard Norton, Gary Daniels, Leon Lai and Chingmy Yau among others, this has a lot of good stuff about it and really gets lost in his shuffle.
I do need to rewatch Operation Condor and get around to seeing Crime Story so there's still some stuff to get to though.

So, I finally got around to my long-awaited rewatch of Operation Condor last night, and found it manages to hang into the underrated section of his work. A ton of comedy that's far funnier than expected, with the hotel confusion and the bumbling agents providing plenty of laughs in this so it feels like a traditional outing of his. Mixed in are a couple of hilarious moments in the battles at the end as well as a lot of jokes to make for a lot of funny moments. Not in the same league as 'Twin Dragons,' but it's hard not to laugh at this. Aside from the comedy, the Action is great with a frenetic car chase, several foot-chases and a great, hilarious shoot-out to make for some fun before the finale in the hangar, where the hand-to-hand work is solid, dependable outings. Overall, that sums the film itself, solid and dependable.
