So I've been really getting into podcasts lately. I listen to them when I'm taking my walks, playing video games, or trying to go to sleep. Does anybody else listen to podcasts, and if so, what are your favorites?

That's d3mon's podcast, he was telling me about it. I listened to one episode so far (the Freddy vs. Jason one) and it was very good. I'm impressed and it will be a regular in my lineup from now on. I recommend it to everyone here.
I also listen to:
The Joe Rogan Experience (listen to the episodes with futurist Jason Silva as a guest, they are f*cking awesome).
The Adam Carolla Show
And then a bunch of Game of Thrones recap podcasts.

Spent some time exploring podcasts a while back but found them mostly terrible. Wrestlecrap is a great example. I've loved the site for years but the podcast is excrutiatingly bad simply because the guys on it, whilst great writers, are colossally irritating to listen to. The only one I still regularly go back to is Mike White's excellent Projection Booth.

If you're a wrestling fan then you should check out The Art of Wrestling with Colt Cabana. Very good 1 on 1 interviews with dozens of well known and lesser known wrestlers.
The Adam Carolla show is very professionally done in an expensive studio. Of course he rubs many people the wrong way so if you don't like him you probably won't like it.
The Joe Rogan Experience is great if you're into stand up comedy or MMA as many of his guests fall into those two categories.

Hardcore History is a cool history podcast I've gotten into lately. Don't agree with all of the host's interpretations but it's pretty thought provoking and interesting.

Kevin Smith does a few Podcasts that are really good. "tell em SteveDave" with walt Flannigan and Bryon Johnson is good, "Jay and Silent Bob Get Old", and "Smodcast" With Kevin and Scott Mosier. They cover comics movies and are smutty and funny as hell like his movies. look up Smodcast in your app store.

I've listened to the original smodcast with Mosier. It's pretty funny. Recently tried his Hollywood Babble-On Podcast and it was alright. Haven't tried the Jay and Silent Bob get old one yet.

It's basically free internet radio you can stream or download through iTunes. But you don't really need iTunes, most podcasts also let you stream the shows from their website or load them to youtube or ustream.

Like I said, you can almost always stream/download them straight from the web no need for an apple product. I did a quick search and found this podcast with its own site: Gnosticradio.orgLooks like you may need itunes to download it but itunes is a free program. I saw some other gnostic podcasts too, just search gnostic or gnosticism on iTunes. www.apple.com/itunes/download/

I've never had one either. The only people I would have to call are the Ghostbusters, hehe.
